Meet Lauren

If you’ve found yourself here, you may be someone others rely on. Competent. Thoughtful. Responsible. You manage complexity well. And yet privately, you may carry anxiety that rarely quiets, relational patterns that feel difficult to shift, or an undercurrent of pressure you can’t fully explain.

Many of the high-capacity professionals I work with across Washington State are not in visible crisis. They are functioning at a high level — while internally feeling exhausted from sustaining a pace that no longer feels sustainable.

You may have learned to be strong early. Attuned to others. Reliable. Self-sufficient. Those adaptations often lead to achievement in adulthood. They can also show up as over-responsibility, emotional shutdown, persistent self-criticism, or difficulty fully resting.

I specialize in anxiety and developmental or relational trauma in high-capacity adults. My approach to therapy is steady, thoughtful, and depth-oriented. Drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), narrative therapy, and trauma-informed care, we explore the underlying patterns shaping your nervous system, relationships, and internal world.

Rather than focusing solely on symptom relief, our work looks at how your system learned to cope — and how it can begin to shift toward greater regulation and integration. Therapy becomes a space where you do not need to perform or manage. A place where clarity replaces constant overdrive.

Healing does not mean erasing your past. It means learning how to hold it differently, with steadiness and self-compassion, so it no longer unconsciously directs your present.

I provide telehealth therapy for adults located throughout Washington State. If you are seeking anxiety or trauma therapy and value a grounded, reflective approach, I welcome you to reach out when you feel ready.

Education & Training

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwest University, and completed my undergraduate studies at Seattle Pacific University. My clinical training has focused on trauma-informed care, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and working with high-functioning adults navigating anxiety and relational trauma.

I pursue ongoing consultation and advanced training to ensure the work remains thoughtful, ethical, and grounded in current research.

Outside of therapy, I value time outdoors, meaningful conversation, and a well-made cup of coffee. I find that stepping outside and slowing down — even briefly — creates the kind of steadiness I encourage in my clients. The pace and presence I bring into session are rooted in the same practices I try to cultivate in my own life.
