My Coaching Philosophy

The coaching I offer grows out of a deep commitment to helping people find clarity and understand themselves more fully. Think of me as a guide through your own inner landscape; someone who helps you navigate what's in your way and tune in to what your body is telling you. Every person brings a distinct mix of strengths, interests, and lived experience that shapes how they show up in relationships and work.

Therapy tends to focus on healing wounds from the past; coaching centers on working through what's happening right now. Because I'm trained in trauma-informed therapy, I can recognize when old patterns are shaping present struggles - and my training as a coach and mentor equips me to help you meet the challenges of today and tomorrow. Both paths rely on genuine self-reflection. What I love most is helping people quiet the noise of everyday life so they can build something with real connection, purpose, and meaning.

Coaching can help anchor you in the present moment while giving you the clarity and intention to move forward. Rather than being swept along by circumstance, you can learn to take an active hand in shaping your own life.

How I Work

  • Coaching, to me, is a partnership; we work side by side to bring clarity and create change.
  • Change happens more readily within a relationship built on encouragement and support.
  • Together, we'll work through the barriers standing in your way and move you toward a life with more meaning in your relationships, career, and everyday experience.
  • We'll dig into your inner world to uncover insights; the kind of information that leads to wiser choices.
  • We'll work through the difficult thoughts and circumstances that keep you stuck.
  • We'll draw on your existing strengths and help you become more attuned to your body's wisdom, so you can live more fully.
  • I'll offer perspective that brings both direction and empathy.

Education

I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling from Northwest University, and my undergraduate degree from Seattle Pacific University. My ongoing education includes Internal Family Systems training, Narrative and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, CPTSD Certification, and Gottman Method training. I have a genuine love of learning and continue to pursue specialized training throughout my career.

Where Spirituality Fits In

I hold the belief that God is Love, and that every person is made to be deeply loved, safe, and connected. Our spiritual health is woven together with our physical, mental, emotional, and relational well-being. My coaching space reflects both professional standards and faith-centered values. I'm aware that many people carry wounds from religious experiences, and I want to offer a safe space for that healing to happen. I welcome and value clients from all kinds of faith backgrounds and practices.

I believe love, hope, and faith have the power to redeem our pain.
